As the Clinical and Research Informatics Division of the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Laboratory of Computer Science explores innovative applications of information technology in healthcare. LCS projects and research address a wide range of healthcare-related needs including patient engagement, information management, decision support, provider workflows, medical education, and clinical research.

Our primary partners are a diverse set of clinical groups at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as other hospitals at Partners Healthcare. Industry collaborations allow us to make selected technologies commercially available to the broader healthcare industry while maintaining our focus on continual innovation.
